			I’m a graphic designer with nearly a decade of experience, specialising in crafting visual narratives that bring brand stories to life and forge genuine connections with audiences.
			Currently, I’m a designer at Frame, an award-winning Scottish agency, where I’ve had the privilege of leading some of our most high-profile client projects.
			Over the years, I’ve worked with a diverse range of clients, from innovative startups to large public and private sector organisations. My expertise spans all areas of design, with a particular passion for creating immersive brand worlds and impactful multi-channel campaigns that work across all touchpoints. I’ve had the opportunity to lead numerous large-scale projects from concept to completion, often stepping into the role of brand guardian for many of my clients.

	Background
As part of a pitch process, the Energy Saving Trust sought a fresh branding concept and campaign to launch their new sustainable energy advice service, Energywise. I was entrusted with developing the logo and the supporting brand system. The brief called for the new logo to a feel fresh while still maintaining a clear connection to the core identity of the Energy Saving Trust.
The Solution
For the logo, I created a clever visual fusion of two key elements: energy, represented by a lightning bolt, and advice, symbolised by quotation marks. This combination forms a unique, instantly recognisable motif, with each element flexible enough to be used individually within the broader brand system. To reinforce the brand's values, I carefully selected a palette of green tones to evoke sustainability, complemented by a vibrant yellow to signify energy enlightenment.
This new, flexible brand system comes to life by incorporating elements from our motif to frame photography within the campaign, alongside a set of bold graphic patterns that inject visual texture and energy across all brand touchpoints. The result is a cohesive, visually distinctive brand world that feels dynamic and unified.&#38;nbsp;

	Background
Part of the AGS Group, Aberdeen Airport serves the surrounding areas of Aberdeenshire and handles over 2 million passengers annually. With 15 airlines offering flights to over 30 destinations, it stands out as a more convenient alternative to larger nearby airports. Retaining their existing logo, I was tasked to develop a brand world that would captivate and inspire new customers, while highlighting the key benefits of flying from Aberdeen—namely, its ease, accessibility, and customer-centric service.
The Solution

The brand world I’ve developed revolves around the iconic shape of a plane window. This distinctive element serves as our central creative device, seamlessly integrating into our communications in a variety of ways. The window acts as a symbol—a portal into the cherished memories and experiences that Aberdeen Airport helps bring to life, inviting travellers to embark on their journeys.

To complement this central motif, I refreshed the typography with a clean, rounded sans serif font that aligns with the brand's new visual language. The client wanted to maintain a limited colour palette, so I preserved the signature red, which is deeply associated with Aberdeen Airport, while softening the stark black with a warmer, more inviting purple tone.

In addition, I curated a collection of authentic, emotive photography that feels natural and unposed. These images capture the genuine moments of joy and anticipation that come with travel, designed to resonate with customers by reflecting the real, unforgettable moments that make holiday memories so special.

	Background
 The Big Light is an award-winning audio production company, home to a team of passionate storytellers, sound designers, and audio engineers committed to bringing stories to life through the power of sound. While they had an established brand, they felt it lacked the impact and distinction needed to truly stand out. They sought a fresh approach that would embody the concept of "freeing audio," aiming for a look and feel that was brilliant, bold, and brave.


The Solution


Drawing inspiration from the intricate patterns of a lighthouse lens, I designed a logo that seamlessly blends light and sound in a visually compelling way. To capture the concept of "freeing audio," I focused on creating a sense of radiating energy and fragmentation, where shapes break apart and evolve. This dynamic visual language extends throughout the brand world, featuring a vibrant colour palette and a set of patterns that echo the core principles of the monogram. The result is a bold, attention-grabbing brand that challenges convention and dares to be different.

While they’ve built a loyal and recognisable customer base, Bee Inspired recognised that their brand identity had become somewhat dated and needed revitalisation to stay relevant in today’s dynamic market.

The Solution


My goal was to design a logo and brand identity that would stand out in a crowded market, while also paying homage to the elements of their existing brand that resonated strongly with loyal customers. I crafted a sleek and clever visual collision of the letters "B" and "I" with the number 3, linking back to their previous identity and their roots in professional football. In additition to this, I created a versatile brand world, designed to adapt and evolve in response to the ever-changing fashion landscape.

	Background
Atria Watford is a sought-after retail destination in Hertfordshire, home to leading brands such as Apple, Zara, Next, Cineworld, Rock Up, and Hollywood Bowl. I was tasked to create a new brand system that would effectively convey the concept of "everything under one roof." Their existing brand lacked the flexibility needed to communicate the diverse range of experiences across shopping, dining, and leisure, and they wanted a cohesive identity that could unite these elements seamlessly.
The Solution


I developed a flexible brand system centred around a mix of illustration and photography. This adaptable approach allows for variety across different touchpoints, ensuring the brand feels fresh and relevant in any context. Core elements like a structured grid system, carefully chosen typefaces, and a consistent illustration style provide a foundation of consistency, while offering enough flexibility to evolve as needed.

The colour palette and illustrations were designed to be versatile, evoking different moods depending on the desired tone. Whether creating a playful, energetic feel or a more sophisticated, fashion-forward vibe, the system can easily shift to suit diverse communications across shopping, dining, and leisure experiences. This dynamic yet cohesive approach helps the brand feel unified and engaging, no matter the context.

	Background
Part of the AGS Group, Southampton Airport serves the surrounding areas of Hampshire and handles approximately 2 million passengers annually. With seven airlines offering flights to over 15 destinations, it stands out as a more convenient alternative to larger nearby airports. Retaining their existing logo, I was asked to develop a brand world that would captivate and inspire new customers, while highlighting the key benefits of flying from Southampton—namely, its ease, accessibility, and customer-centric service.
The Solution
Drawing inspiration from flight paths and plane contrails, I designed a flexible visual device that runs seamlessly across all brand touchpoints, from campaigns to retail and functional applications. The flight paths dynamically interact with imagery and typography, creating a sense of energy, excitement, and effortless movement. This design element not only adds visual interest but also evokes the feeling of smooth, hassle-free travel.

Additionally, I curated a collection of authentic, emotive photography that feels natural and unposed, capturing the genuine moments of joy and anticipation that come with travel. The images aim to resonate with customers by reflecting those treasured holiday memories. To further enhance the sense of warmth and optimism, I employed a vibrant colour palette, subtly hinting at sunnier, happier times, reinforcing the positive experience of flying from Southampton.

	Background

Northern&#38;nbsp;are the largest train operator in the UK outside of London, with around 2,500 services daily to over 500 stations across the North of England.&#38;nbsp;They approached us with the challenge of improving its image and rebuilding trust. Their goal was to reposition the brand as a more reliable service for the people of the North and recover sales to pre-pandemic levels. &#38;nbsp;
The Solution
Instead of focusing solely on ticket types, products, and prices, we created a campaign that celebrated the freedom Northern Trains provides. "Go Do Your Thing" was designed to highlight the limitless possibilities travel can offer, bringing a sense of liberation and joy after the constraints of the pandemic. It positioned Northern as the reliable service that gets you to where you want to be, empowering passengers to reclaim their journeys.

The art direction I was integral in developing, mirrors this optimism and positivity, using vibrant illustrations of people embracing life and making the most of every moment. These visuals embody the spirit of adventure and the freedom to explore, reinforcing Northern’s role in helping passengers live life to the fullest.

	Background
Founded over 900 years ago, The High School of Glasgow is a prestigious private school in Glasgow, Scotland. They approached us as part of a competitive pitch process, seeking a campaign and brand platform that truly encapsulates what makes the school unique and fosters a deep, emotional connection with its community. The new brand platform needed to be bold, daring, and distinctive—cutting through the noise in an increasingly competitive sector. It also had to be versatile and adaptable, ensuring consistency and impact across all touchpoints.
The Solution
Our brand platform stemmed from the idea that a school where the ‘joy of learning’ exists is one where students are given appropriate levels of challenges and one in which they are able to make decisions about their learning in an inspiring, creative and engaging way. Memorable learning experiences like those offered by the High School of Glasgow lead to stronger learning, stronger people and stronger futures.


I visualised the emotional impact of learning using bold illustrative flourishes over images of children experiencing those moments of joy, discovery and inspiration. An expanded color palette with vibrant, playful tones and dynamic typography enhanced this sense of joy and fulfillment, creating a visual identity that truly reflects the spirit of the school.
